Floral Touches Without The Flowers

Brooch Wedding Bouquet

These stunning features offer an alternative to fresh flowers while still adding floral touches to your wedding.

We begin with one of this year’s wedding trends – brooch bouquets.  These are stunning alternative to traditional bouquets, but far more expensive. If you’re crafty, you could opt for the DIY route, but all the pieces will certainly add up so do your homework before embarking on this.

Floral Brooch ButtonholesIf a bridal brooch bouquet is beyond your budget, but you still want to incorporate these into your bridal party, why not consider buttonholes – certainly a less expensive item, and an easier DIY project!

Another relatively easy DIY element is a paper windmill or pinwheel. They can be used as table centrepieces or to decorate your candy buffet table. These fun patterned table numbers and menu cards tie in so well the orange and bright pink windmill table centrepieces.

These tea light candles can be used as favours or simply to decorate your tables.

Floral Reception Décor Ideas

The floral sashes are alternative to tradition chair cover sashes and work beautifully with chivari chairs.

So if you’re allergic to flowers or just looking for an alternative to tradition wedding flowers, we hope our ideas have inspired you.

I’m really not good a DIY but the paper windmills don’t look too difficult. I might give them a try for my candy buffet table.

I made ribbon buttonholes for all the men and the 2 moms at our wedding last September and they looked really cool and people really loved them. It’s nice to put a little bit of yourself into things and it also meant that everyone could keep theirs as a little token of the day.
