Kilronan Castle in Co. Roscommon set the scene for Grainne and Rob’s wedding, captured by Alan Mooney Photography.

How we met
Where and when:
In a Café by the Seine (er… otherwise known as Café En Seine).
Our first date:
Powerscourt Shopping Centre Bar.
The Proposal
When, where and how:
At home just before Christmas 2008 over a pizza.

The Big Day
What we were thinking:
Yay!
Before I walked down the aisle, I:
was thinking I hope I don’t trip.
When we first saw each other:
We kissed.
Our music:
She moved through the Fair
Mouldy Peaches Anyone Else But You

Most magical moment:
Signing the registry looking at each other and realising that we’d done it.

Most emotional moment:
Grainne’s father’s speech.

Our first dance was a reggae version of Somewhere Over The Rainbow because we’re cool but corny at the same time.

Oh wow, I love the first shot. Is that on the grounds of Kilronan or where was it taken?
Hi Jenny,
The lake shots are taken at the pier in the nearby Keadue West, as you leave Kilronan Castle, turn right at main road and follow for approx 2 miles, just before you reach Keadue you will see the lake on your right, and there is an entrance with a small carpark there. Let me know if you need any further info. alan@alanmooney.com
Thanks!
