Hen Party. These two simple words can make some grown women shudder and wince at the very thought! We know dressing up in some outfit and draping L plates around yourself is not everyone’s cup of tea, and so just for you here are 9 things to do during a sophisticated weekend in London.
And we promise, there’s not an L plate in sight!
London is a good option for brides who want to go somewhere different but that is quick and easy to get to. Of course it is jam packed with plenty to do, if you can tear yourselves away from the shops, that is!
1.Take in a Show
A visit to London wouldn’t be complete without taking in one of the brilliant West End Shows. There will always be a show to suit you, from Shrek The Musical, The Bodyguard or The Lion King to my personal favourite, Wicked, Stomp or Thriller Live. No matter your taste, there is something to please all members of your party. The London Theatre Guide website will list all upcoming shows.
2. Hire a Private Capsule on the London Eye
Relax in your own capsule on the London Eye with up to 25 guests whilst sipping champagne and soaking up the views of London, which you are sure to see from the top – which is 135ms high.
3. Wine Tasting at Vinopolis
Learn how to really ‘taste’ wine with a wine tasting experience at Vinopolis. Vinopolis has had rave reviews for their fresh approach to wine and food. One of London’s most iconic five star hotels, Claridge’s, based in Mayfair, is the perfect location for a grown-up and ladylike afternoon tea. Situated in the Foyer and Reading Room, everything is perfect from the glamour of the art deco interior to the live music and quintessentially English menu. It’s little wonder they have consecutively been given an Award of Excellence by the Tea Guild.
