Real Weddings Submissions
Submissions are currently open to all photographers.
If you’d like to submit a unique and inspiring real wedding or engagement shoot for consideration, read on…
Please send 7 to 10 images in jpg format as a single ZIP file to submissions@mrs2be.ie. Ensure the ZIP file is less than 5 Mb in size. Include a selection of images of the couple, venue, details or other images that you feel best highlight the event. Please also include initial information: your name, couple’s name, and the location of the shoot.
We will then contact you if we wish to feature your real wedding on our blog. Once your feature has been chosen, we will request 35 – 50 images which best highlight the wedding, or in the case of an engagement shoot 10 – 20 images is sufficient. We will provide an FTP address to upload the images to. Most images should be in colour.
Each image must be at least 1,000 pixels wide, and we reserve the right to crop them. All watermarks should be removed.
We will also require the couple to provide information about their wedding or engagement shoot. This basic questionnaire will be provided once the feature has been selected.
We require that the particular wedding or engagement shoot has not been published or submitted for publication elsewhere (apart from your own blog). If you have submitted your shoot for publication elsewhere, please let us know.
Although you as photographer own the copyright to your own images, we will only accept submissions in cases where the couple involved have given their blessing to have their images featured on our blog.
We receive many submissions for consideration. Please do not be offended if we do not select your submission for publication at this time. Feel free to make future submissions.
