If you are looking for a talented, lively, professional and experienced band for your wedding, then you should contact Blacktye. Blacktye perform a wide range of musical styles including pop, soul, rock, reggae and jazz standards and their repetoire is constantly expanding.

With very competitive rates, Blacktye offer a number of packages to suit your needs. These packages can include music for your church, drinks reception, evening band and DJ. Church music (double bass & piano) is provided free of charge when you book either the Gold or Platinum package.

Meet the Band

Phil Campbell – Vocals & Guitar
A well accomplished musician and songwriter. Phil is also a talented Hip-Hop producer and regularly performs with RnB band Xntrix.

Enda Ferriter – Keyboards
Currently writing music for a cable television station Enda has a Jazz degree and is also the resident pianist in the Four Seasons Hotel.

Paul Cantwell – Drums
Playing drums professionally over 20 years after studying in Newpark School of Music. Paul has worked with Hazel O’Connor, Mike Scott (Waterboys), Van Morrison, Deloras Keane, Sinead O’Connor and Mott the Hoople. His career has spanned many situations from national studio and theatre work to playing with full concert orchestras. He has also spent time touring in Europe and the US while working in television; including four seasons as part of the Eurostar band with the RTE.
Paul is also a respected music educator working for the Yamaha music company and as a member of the Irish Drum Academy.

Chrissy – Vocals
Talented female singer Chrissy is a former member of Backalley and Twentieth Century Gold. She has being gigging professional for over 15 years.
