Penry Photography is the wedding photography of leading Irish photographer Peter Evers. A native of Dublin, Peter has been a successful fashion and advertising photographer for 13 years. His work has been widely published over the years, both in Ireland and internationally. Peter’s affable nature and ability to put people at ease has gifted him with a special talent for wedding photography. “What a great job – I get to photograph love and happiness all day long!” A testament to his skills, Peter has become the photographer of choice for other photographers’ weddings.
It is important to Peter that being photographed on your wedding day is easy and enjoyable for you. He unobtrusively captures your day to produce vibrant, natural photographs. He brings an assistant along so that he is free to take pictures while the assistant takes care of everything else. Peter favours reportage (photojournalistic / “fly on the wall”) coverage, together with a small amount of informal portraiture. His reportage is true reportage – he captures real moments and nothing is staged. Peter is quick and efficient with his portraiture (allowing you to get back to your drinks reception) while still producing creative, beautiful portraits in an informal style.
