Robert Mullan is one of those lucky people who earn their living doing what they like best and has been doing that for the past 25 years. Drawing on experience gained from hundreds of weddings, he can offer today’s couple an album that tells a story, shot in a fun and relaxed atmosphere.
His style can be best described as documentary with a classic edge. Couples who book Robert can expect terrific pictures without him running riot and taking over. His work is a refreshing alternative to the obligatory collection of “stuffy” photos where everyone is posed to within an inch of their lives!
That said; he’s also very good at getting a small number of traditional family shots. These and other “formal” pictures are usually completed in 15 minutes. As Robert himself says, “it’s a wedding, not a photo shoot.”
As well as a long list of satisfied clients, Robert has had more than his fair share of peer recognition. He has been named as the Royal and Sun Alliance Irish Professional Photographers Association “Photographer of the Year” and won a host of industry awards, both at home and abroad.
