These forum rules apply to ALL forum posters (including “missies” and “wedding suppliers”). The forum administrator reserves the right to amend any of these rules at any time. It is the responsibility of each user to frequently read through these rules to ensure full compliance at all times. Rule breaches will not be tolerated and users who do not abide by the rules may find their accounts suspended.
DOs
- Do enjoy your time on the forums by being helpful and courteous to fellow “missies” at all times.
- Do feel free to recommend wedding suppliers and service providers (whether or not they are listed in the Mrs2be.ie supplier directory).
- Do report any suspect posts to Admin. The only users who are allowed to advertise their businesses are those who have the "mrs2be.ie Supplier" rank attached to their profile. The avatar picture also displays the mrs2be.ie logo.
- Do report any unsolicited advertising Private Messages (PMs) that you may receive. Forward them on to Claire, the forum administrator.
- Do bear in mind that not everyone is a creative writer. Some people find it challenging to convey their exact thoughts and emotions in writing. Please take this fact into account before posting a response to a posting that you may have an issue with. It is certainly not appropriate to attack or criticise somebody for having a different belief or opinion to you. Please take the time to consider your response in a rational and courteous manner.
- Do tell all of your friends about mrs2be.ie!
DON’Ts
- Don’t think about registering as a “fake bride” to promote your business as a wedding supplier. The “missies” here are well aware of this practice and you are likely to be caught out at great risk to your reputation. There are no shortcuts to creating goodwill for your business. It can take years to build up consumer confidence in your product or service but just seconds to completely lose it. Don't say you haven't been warned!
- Don’t post malicious, defamatory or libellous comments about any individual(s), company or organisation.
- Don’t post any abusive, obscene, vulgar, slanderous, hateful, threatening, racist, sexually-orientated content or any other material that may violate any laws of the Republic of Ireland or any other country.
- Don’t publicly post negative feedback about any supplier or service provider. We can’t allow this for legal reasons. If you have feedback of a non-positive nature, this can be given by way of Private Message (PM).
- Don’t post advertisements here unless you are a paying registered supplier. Otherwise you will be liable to pay €125 per posting.
- Don’t curse or swear on the forums. (Well try your best anyway!)
- Don’t link to any other websites that are against any of the rules above.
The forum administrator reserves the right to:
- Remove or edit any post that is deemed to be inappropriate
- Ban (temporarily or permanently) a user for breach of any of the forum rules
- Inform the user’s ISP (Internet Service Provider) of inappropriate behaviour and provide the offending IP address.
