I wax my top lip and eyebrows. I started doing eyebrows myself saves money.
I don't think I could handle a hollywood. My mam always get legs, bikini and underarms done going away or if she has a wedding or special occasion. she bought the hot wax in Boots and has started doing them all herself. She's saving herself lot of money

I shave lower legs and armpits. Get upper legs (knee upwards) waxed about once/twice a year. Have gotten lower legs waxed a few times and found it never gave me a smooth a finish as shaving does

I use hair removing cream on bikini line (used to get it waxed but found waxing gave me ingrown hairs). I used to get my eyebrows threaded but since I moved I can't find anywhere near me that does threading so I very occassionally get them waxed but mainly just tweeze them

God, what a faff we women have to go through!

Got this definition of threading off the internet as I couldn't think of a simple way to describe it:

"Practitioners use a pure, thin, twisted cotton thread which is rolled over untidy hairlines, moustaches and so on, plucking the hair at the follicle level. Unlike tweezing where a single hair is pulled out each time, threading can remove an entire row of hair, resulting in a straighter line. However, due to a larger area of hair being removed at once, it can be quite painful for some"

Basically, its quite skiiled and they use a thread and go really fast. It is quite sore, but no more so than waxing.

When I lived in London you could get it done in loads of places and I used to pay £8 to get my brows done. The one & only place I have found near me now that does it charges £30!!! As if i'd pay that - will stick to my tweezers in the meantime thanks

I usually shave legs and underarms, and use immac on my bikini line. Got a new wilkinson sword razor that has a trimmer, so now I just trim my bikini line cause I have very light hair anyway. Will prob get waxed though for wedding and honeymoon cause does last longer, but im not a very good waxee!!! Also dont like having to let the hair grow long enough to be waxed. My best friend is my beautician and I think she does be ready to kill me by the end of it cause I do be flinchin and yelpin, lol!! But she worked in Oz, and when you get hollywood wax there you do get up on all fours to get the at the back, nearly fell off my chair when she told me this!!! But doesn't bother her at all, she's seen all sorts she said! I did have to ask was my you know what normal, not over hairy etc, and was glad to find out I am normal, or so she says!!! The converstaions we have with our bezzie mates!!!!! :hug2

Have any if you tried epilating? It hurts the first few times but gets easier. Very effective and cheaper than waxing!
