Love the dress
but if you dont feel right about it, maybe ask if you can have the deposit for that dress put to hold a dress you feel more comfortable for your wedding location (which btw I'm jealous of :P)

msBBE, dont be too jealous--were bringing 3 kids aged 3,4 and 7 on almost 9 hour flight---- :punchup not gonna be fun--think the dress will get a very far back seat nearer to the day!!!
think il go mad and use the dress--raring to go now!!!! :reallove

My dress is similar and i'm getting married abroad! Dont change it - it's lovley! Brides bring all types of dresses on the plane so dont worry.

thats beautiful-go for it!!! im getting married abroad and i wasnt really thinking about that when i was buying my dress- when i found 'the one' i wasnt going to say, o acutally i might be too warm, my dress has layers also but its not that warm cos of the material is taffeta-ish so it will be grand- it looks heavier than it is. :)

how much of a deposit did u put down??? i can see why you could have doubts, but that dress is absolutely beautiful!!! if when you get it you still think its heavy im sure the shop could remove some of the layers underneath.. or alter it so that parts are removable.

shenn09 that is a beautiful dress! It doesnt look too heavy it looks just right! I dont think its too much at all, its perfect for ur personal cermony and ur other one when u get home. x
If ur really not comfortable ask the shop if they have ordered it in yet, i know a few wait untill so much is paid not jsut the depsoit and depending in when the wedding is and transfer the deposit off another. :D
