BM Dresses/Colour Scheme

Hi Girls,

I am not getting married until August 2014 so I wasn't planning on looking at dresses until next year. But I came across the perfect Bridesmaid dresses on Dessy website, exactly the dress I had in my head. I want summer colours and was thinking a nice bright pink or dusky pink but I love the dress in sunflower with a pink sash and was just hoping to get any honest opinions on yellow as anyone I have talked to hasn't seen yellow at a wedding. If I went for these colours my chair sashes would probably be the pink in the sash and that would be incorporated into the rest of the room.

Oh and my bridesmaids are brunettes and blondes

Fab colour,but i think its a very hard colour to pull off.I'm very pale and could never get away with wearing it..unfortunately.

Thanks Lorraine! I was thinking that, I suppose 3 of my BM's would naturally be quite pale but fake it, wouldn't catch them without their tan if the occassion calls for it and my youngest sister is so tanned, think she may be a long lost kardashian sister haha, but she would be quite dark (lucky her)

Ah well then go for it,the colour scheme sounds fab,very unusual too.You might start a trend!!

You should take your girls to a shop and try on a few bm dresses in the rough colour your looking at to make sure it suits them, if you love it - go for it! I'm having yellow and navy blue in my wedding, think its a lovely summer colour!

Thanks girls, you have all mad me feel so much better about liking them I am going to get my BMs to a shop and see if pink or yellow suits them better everyone seems a fan of the yellow and pink when I show them pictures of the dress. I think one of my bridesmaids might be a bit apprehensive about the yellow so I will see how it goes when they have them on

Do any of you know anywhere that supplies Dessy that would be closer to Louth?
