I've heard it's brilliant. You can use it for anything, over night or every day or cracked heels... i must get some.

I had a sample size tube of the Chanel Teint Fluide a while back and it did seem pretty good... I think there's a decent make up counter in Sligo town that does Chanel products so I'll deffo pop in when i'm next in town. As for the skin regime, i'm not as good as i should be! I do exfoliate twice aweek and cleanse/tone every day. If I don't have time i just use facial wipes. I think i go a bit mad with the exfoliator though, scrub like mad... bad thing??

I know what i should be doing but tbh i dont always do it, my routine lately is terrible
Facial wipes are very bad for your skin and will dry it out a lot. If cleanisng after a night our or that, use a facial wash(lather on, rinse off) as they are so handy and much quicker than a cream cleanser where you have to use cotton pads wiping if off for about 10mins, or maybe thats just me  Water works as a toner, so wuick clease, splash water on your face pat dry, then moisturise and hop into bed should take less than 5 mins.
Dont scrub too much when exfoliating, just circle your hands on your face lightly you dont need much pressure iykwim

:happywave mummybear i suffer from psoriasis so can suffer from very dry patches on certain parts of my face so know what you're going through... I have learnt a thing or two over the years.... firstly never ever ever use the facial wipes on your face they are soaked in alcohol to keep them moist and are extremely bad for people who suffer from dry skin i bet after you use them your skin feels extremely tight, I used them once years ago and never again they made my dry patches worse... so throw them out today... I take my make up off with a cleanser from the nivea range there is one for dry skin and for me i find its the only one that works ( & believe you and me i've tried everything  ) ... i then wash my face with silicock base very cheap to buy in any chemist and comes in a big tub. its a subsitute for soap and the likes ... don't use toner either as this can be full of alcohol and dry your skin out further. After I've washed my face with Silicock base every night i then put on a really moisturising face cream on at the moment I'm using guniot for dry skin conditions its more expensive then your run of the mill face cream but its worth it during times of the year like winter were you skin becomes really dry and you only need a tiny bit of it i have my bottle now 7 months and still some left in it. I exfoliate once a week with a exfoliater with a very fine grain in it so as to really work on the dry patches. don't over do it just rub lightly and very gently into face for a couple of mins concentrating on the dry patches on your cheeks, forehead and chin , if you go for too long it drys out your skin... remember always lash on the moistueriser after it.
As for make up don't use make up that is combined with a powder as this will totally dry out your skin use a make up that is oil based as this will prevent your skin from drying out with those dry patches that you see ... I find that only one make up that has worked for me so far is Perfect Touch by Yves Saint Laurent.. great stuff... don't use powder over your foundation i gave up using this years ago as its really drying on my face and makes my dry patches worse.. To keep my make up on i use a really good primer like smash box and the put foundation on and use a bit of brozer thats it... my make up stayed on when i got married away in 40 degrees so it will work for you... sorry for the long post hun but put it this way after suffering from psoriasis since i've been 4 and tried every make up and cream under the sun I found the simple beauty regimes work the best... hope this helps you hun :)

hi in recent months I have been suffering the same, dry skin on my cheeks t-zone and chin and bleeding lips from dry skin there and dry hands, at night I sometimes put silcocks base (the tube of cream not the tub) and that can be good, I run a spare soft toothbrush over my lips to remove the skin then apply lebello under my gloss, and for my hands I use jonsons hand cream which is good but need to use a few times a day, but anyway for the face the best thing I've found so far is from simple its called hydrating light moisturiser, u can use it in the morning or evening or both....but its brilliant I got mine in boots and it was only about 2 or 3e

Hi mummybear just wanted to add i was washing my face everyday with a wash and a
soft brush twice a day way too harsh and my skin was like all dry and flaky. Now i just use the wash
once a day and cleanse and tone and moisturise with a day cream and night cream and i'm also drinking 2 litres of water as i know my skin was seriously dehydrated, omg what a difference i don't wear make up and my skin
is so clear i'm using no7 by the way. I worked in pharmacy and if it is something more medicated you need
you could try eucerin 5% urea cream for the face
good luck

Have you tried using a serum under the moisturiser? I was recommended to use one - I think it helps the moisturiser to work

Totally agree with sunshine here. Keep things simple. I have eczema and have always had problems with make up. I've tried cheap ones and ridiculously expensive ones but I'm using a liquid mineral one now. It's Maybelline pure liquid mineral. The minerals are great for dry skin but stay away from the powder ones. This ones real cheap- around a tenner, so give it a go before you try an expensive one. Also just a suggestion, I've recently started drinking around 2 litres of water a day and also taking cod liver oil tablets. My skin is loads better now. Aveeno and La Roche Pose (sp?) have fantastic products for dry skin too.
Let us know how you get on hon! I feel your pain! I was born covered head to toe in eczema and had to be coated in liquid parafin for my skin- I was known as the oil baby! Good luck! :fingerscrossed
