Hey trees... I've heard there's a good one in Dun Laoghaire, where they do reduced designer and sample dresses. It's called... eh... sorry will have to get back to you on that one, but might be worth a look. I've also heard the one in Powerscourt in town is good, or the one by The Bankers (near Keogh's cafe off Dame St). Not quite at the dress buying stage yet myself but I like window shopping! Personally I want to go to Brown Thomas, just so I can say I tried on a REAL Vera Wang dress...

I feel i really have to get the dress sorted sooner rather than later - our wedding is 29 May 2010
i think if i had my dress and the bridesmaids done - things would be simpler but having said that i am sure another problme would turn up..

The one in Dun Laoghaire that you're thinking of is Barnardos - it's a charity shop but they have second hand and ex-stock bridal dresses upstairs. It's not very big but they are very nice in their and much cheaper than a regular bridal shop! There's a similar shop with Oxfam in the city centre, which I believe are bigger but I haven't been there. If you're in any way handy with a needle (or know someone who is) second-hand or ex-stock is great because it's so much cheaper and you can customise it.

I assume you want shops outside the city centre?
There's another bridal shop in Blackrock, which is supposed to be good but I haven't been there myself.

I'm supposed to be married in April 2010 (I say supposed to because we haven't booked anything yet but the venue we're looking at is available) and I haven't got anything sorted either!
