I completely agree about costing - we are trying to do ours for 6k all except honeymoon!!

My friend who is getting married 2012 is ALREADY after spending 45k on her wedding and over 11k of that on her dress!!

I was like WTF - other than celebs WHO REALLY spends that

Oh and best of all, its not even her money - she is marrying into money and gloating the whole damn time!!!!

Sorry went off on a small ranting tangent there!! :P

I have oredered one bridesmaid's dress from light in the box..
Iam not expecting to recieve it for about another 2 weeks,
I just ordered a size 12...if it wont fit one of my bridesmaids, it will fit the other, it will be too big if anything...so i can get it taken in. I only ordered one to see what its like, if i like it i will be ordering 2 more and a junior bridesmaid dress to match..
I will come back on here to let ye know how i get on..

I'd love to order one of the dresses as I saw it in a shop for €2,500 and opposed €300

I know some of the brides on here ordered off light in the box and they said it was great, I am planning on ordering all off there when I have an idea about dresses as going dress shopping next week and cant wait.

I aint going spending anymore than 500 euro and my dress and 2 bms dress and flower girls dress so got to order it off the net and light in the box seems to be one of the best, lol

Yeah, i think the same cheeky.
spotted a fab halterneck one on lighinthebox for me, for about 299.
Will be going weddign dress shopping at the end of this month, just to get an idea of what style suits me best..i'm terrified that i will fall in love with a really expensive one in a shop, but light in the box seems to have sooooo many different types, i should be ok to find one similar to one i like.hopefuly!
I am getting a junior bridesmaid dress too, getting one that is the same material as the bm's and buying a yard of material to make a belt like the bm dresses.

Hi everyone,
I am planning on ordering my dress of this website, so I decided I would order some swatches off them and see what the materials are like, so I ordered different colours in the different materials. I ordered them last wednesday or thursday and I got an email today to say that they have been shipped.
We are starting our dress shopping on friday so want to keep in mind the time etc.
So now its just a matter of waiting on the swatches to arrive. Once I have finished with the swatches I will let you all know and see if any of them are any good to you guys.

hi there luceybride, have you got your bms dresses yet or are you planning on ordering them off light in the box too?
I was looking into light in the box website one night last week and you can get lengths of material so you can use them as belts on the dresses, I just want to go shopping now so can sort that and it will be another thing off the list, lol
