Alternative suit for the hubby to be?

Postby harv2010 » Thu Feb 17, 2011 12:02 am

Ok guys and girls,

I know we won't be suit shopping for quite some time but we have been thinking about getting a 'different' suit for the h2b. Rented suits don't suit him (pardon the sentence  ), they make him look more slender than he actually is. We were thinkking of getting a nice fitted suit made to measure for him. The thing is he is not into the whole cravat style. We were thinking of going for something kinda funky, maybe a tweed kind of look with a fitted waistcoat and a nice fitted jacket. The thing is, how will we get around the cravat thing, would it look very out of place if the groom was very different to the groomsman and best man? What do ye think, I can't picture it in my head.

why not look at matching check jackets and waistcoats then h2b can wear check jacket and plain waistcoat and your gm can wear plain jackets and check waistcoats then get ties to match???
