was just wondering what colour and type (tails, no tails, morning, prince edward) the grooms were getting for your wedding? Is anyone doing the smart suit instead of the morning suit? What colour are ye going for the waistcoat and things?

i'm just goin for plain black suits, with wing collared shirts the groomsmen are wearing black waistcoats and i'm wearing an ivory one were all wearing purple cravats

Our big day is on May 21st, as you can probably tell by my ticker! The way he decided on having the suits sounds lovely doesn't it? The cravats match the bm dresses perfectly!
So happy...!

That's cool! I think we're going for grey tails and an ivory waistcoat and cravet for the groomsmen and a hunter green cravet to match bm dresses for the groom!!

Awww, that sounds really nice! I love that your having hunter green in your wedding colours (it'll look fab against the grey tail's! ), it's a bit different from the usual red's/pink's/purple's etc. It's gonna look gorgeous!
We had to go with purple coz it was the only colour h2b would agree on (after 3 days of heated discussion)!!!

Fair play for getting him into purple!! Should look great. We're thinking of maybe going for orange/ reds or pinks for flowers.

Which wedding magazine was that? I think I've only two in the house-generally just research everything online!!Would love to see that. Am thinking of having red roses myself-hopefully that'll look ok if the girls have orangey coloured flowers!

I save all the magazines i buy coz they're good to refer back to, so i'll have a flip through and let you know where I find the picture.

Okay, I just spent the last hour looking for the pictures and I couldn't find them, i'm really sorry! I must've seen it in a magazine that i've lost or something... Anyway, i felt bad so I went onto ask.com and got lots of results for peach wedding flowers, hunter green bm dresses, and colour themes for weddings etc. Most of the places were saying that hunter green is best with white calla lilies, victorian lilac (thistles), light pink roses/peonies or peach/burnt orange roses/calla lilies. So you're deffo on track with the colours you were considering! In the current issue of 'Confetti 25 Real Weddings', there is a woman in there with the same flowers I saw in the picture i couldn't find, (so maybe if you come cross that magazine it would worth having a sneaky flip through to pages 47+48! ) I'm sorry i can't be of better help to you , but i really would suggest going to ask.com and searching what you're looking for (type in 'flowers that co-ordinate with hunter green bridesmaids dresses') as i'm sure with a bit of patience you'll come across exactly what you have in mind!
