I've had a look at the Wedding Countdown and Checklist in the planning resources section, and I was just wondering, are all the brides doing all the planning, or are the h2bs taking on some tasks and helping out?
Mine has said he'd be happy to do the male stuff like photographer, videographer, suits and band.
I don't expect him to be interested in bridesmaids dresses or flowers, but I don't want to be left to organise absolutely everything else.
Do you run everything by them or do you have free reign once your sticking within the budget?

My H2B booked the bands and the church music and ive done all the rest (with his go ahead on each thing) Im a bit of a control freak.

I've become a total control freak! I do all the organising, I just run everything by h2b, he has input whenever he disagrees or doesn't like something, and he comes up with some fab ideas sometimes, but when it comes to phoning suppliers or arranging a meeting or deciding how exactly the reception should look, it's all me! I don't think we'd be half as organised as we are atm if was all left to h2b, and I think he'd agree!

I left the photographer for h2b, and he's responsible for his side of things - like getting addresses for his friends and family. I suppose I'm the one that has done most of the searching (wedding mags, online, mrs2be!) but we tend to agree on stuff together - thank heavens we have a similar taste!

It deffinitely helps things along! Finding a way to agree on the music is a big one!

My h2b arranged and searched for the videographer and organized a meeting with the baker. We picked chruch, hotel, band and photographer together. Sometimes I gave him a choice of a limited numbers of suppliers. He's been to a few wedding fairs too. Got him a Grooms Guide on Amazon.

He now interest in the themes of the wedding and the honeymoon. The book is good as it gives the grooms an indication of how much the bride does too!!!

h2b got dj, cars and suits. he also wanted a church wedding so we done this, and i picked the venu then and i got everything else! i run everything passed h2b but as long as im in bugdet i gernally get the "ya babe if you want it then we'll have it"

I have to say my darling husband organised most of our wedding. We got married aboard so he dealt with the wedding planner on a lot of things as at the time my job was just crazy and I was working from very early in the morning until all hours every night. He knew I was stressed with my job without having to organise the wedding with the planner so he looked after everything... I'd trust him to look after anything now as he really surprised me.. I know its hard for some girls as they like to be in control but your H2b are well able to help you so let them take some of the stress off you and just discuss together what you want. sunshine your very lucky. my h2b would leave everything until the last second - like we still wouldnt have anyhing booked if he was doing it! but im enjoying it so im hapy to do it. my job sounds very different to yours as im able to get a lot of phone calls and emails done while in work!! (thank god my boss isnt always here!)

I agree im the same plus I would hate for h2b to do it all, h2b has been with me when booking everything but he's happy letting me organise.. anyways if i let him pick id probs walk up to glory glory man united. defo theme would be red and black (for man u) ah it would be a diseaster. Plus im only marrying once I want it to be our special day coz im asking h2b what he wants and he keeps saying what ever once we get married and me family is there and me bro's beside me (thats the bit I dont like there's four of them) i dont care.. so im happy organising.. he's gonna help do everything like the invites and all

OMG mine is driving me bloody insane! He has to be involved in everything, I know its both our day but sumtimes he goes too far, we had a big argument yesterday over wait for it......seals for the back of the invites! He shouldnt even notice these things! I know Id complain if he was the opposite but sumtimes I wish he'd just off and leave me too it!
Sorry just hate fighting with him!

sounds like ye re both unde alot of stress due to your date is coming close. i hate fighting with my h2b too.
