just found a website to help build speeches called www.weddingspeechbuilder.com
the first thing i found was this great start to a speech
'Good evening Ladies and Gentlemen - I did, of course, have a great speech of my own worked out for you today, but as I am now married, my wife has told me what to say instead.'

Hello there!
Im sure youll be fine. Dont worry just make sure you know exactly what you will say and rehearse it if needed.
I too will be nervous. But Im usually nervous a day or two before a public speech - on the day i will be fine.
I more or less know exactly what my speech will be. Have the speech written and rehearsed well before hand. Otherwise you will be nervous.

I think we have agreed to have the speeches before the meal.

Do you know of any good websites for tips on groom speeches??

My h2b does a lot of presentations etc as part of his job. I visited the venue while there was a conference on, and the screen was down for slide show presentations. I joked with him that instead of a speech he could do a power point presentation... Aaaarrrggghh! He thinks it's a really great idea!!!! I dread to think what photos he'll dredge up.
