Well I finally did it!!!!

Ok so it wasn't the most imaginative proposal in the world but I did the best I could given the circumstances!
On friday when she came home to work I had a nice dinner prepared and had candles lit all over the house. To throw her off the scent a bit I told her that we were having a romantic Christmas dinner by ourselves with no family or friends. She bought that

I was more nervous than I thought I'd be - I suppose I just wanted it to go well. I really wanted to do the whole "down on one knee thing" so I pretended to drop my fork and get down to pick it up. I had the ring box in my hand at this stage and she nearly fell off the chair when she saw it and burst into tears! I was getting a bit worried at this stage I can't even remember exactly what I said cause it was all a bit surreal. By the way, she said yes!

She was really suprised that I had gone to the trouble of getting a ring made but thank god she really likes it and it fits perfectly too.

Thanks for all your well wishes here, it was great to be able to get it off my chest here! I'll have to tell my mrs to be to get herself on here. My work is done!!!!
