Matching wedding bands

Postby Rob2108 » Sun Apr 04, 2010 11:31 pm

Hi everyone , just looking for your thoughts on getting matching wedding bands. My B2B has a beautiful platinum engagement ring and is getting a wedding band to match. I'm set on getting a traditional gold wedding band and don't think it's at all important to have them matching. Way more important that we're both happy with our own rings. Thoughts anyone ?

Well my Ering is platinum aslo, but H2B wants a celtic wedding band and I dont. (I just dont think it will go with my ring!) so we'll be looking for seperate rings. do like the idea of matching rings, but I want him to love his ring as much as i love mine so im not too pushed of weather or not they match!

:iagree
I agree with what the other girls are saying, its what you are happy with Rob. H2B and I had wanted matching rings initially but I wanted diamonds in my wedding band and he's not into diamonds so we went for different rings and he loves his ring as much as I love my ring.

:iagree with the girls, Go with what you like. that's what we did. H2b tried on loads before he found one he liked. He's getting a pladdium ring that bevelled and mine's a platnium diamond one. It wouldn't make any difference to me if he went for any colour or style. as long as he's happy! You have to wear it for the rest of your life so its better to be happy with it!

our rings are completely different! his is matt and shine silver with a lovely square design thing on it and mine is plain gold band with a few diamonds set into it! they actually couldnt be more different but each suits us as individuals! once you're happy with what you're gettin, thats all that matters, as the girls said, its you that has to wear it! when you're spending money on it, it should be something you like and you'll wear!!
