yeh, wont be getting any certs yet, but it took him months to ask his mam if she knew where he would have to go to get his baptismal cert. As he was born in Sligo we didnt know if he was baptised in the hospital or where, luckily we now know that it was his mam (adopted) that baptised him in the cathedral in Sligo, birth cert is a different story though as dont have birth mothers name.

I have taken care of almost everything to date, H2B helped with invitations. I've been asking him for wks has he sorted a day to go into town to sort out their suits and still no go on him, told him he's going to be left with big heavy overly hot suits if he leaves it too late, but that's his problem if he won't pull the finger out and do it.

My H2B came to look at band (with me), came to cake lady (with me), he is organising the honeymoon. He came to hotel for meetings with the banqueting manager. He is going to sort his own suits. I have my dress and had to tell him to stop askiing for a look at it! (such a nosey parker!!! ) He came to meet the priest and is organising all his documenation for the marriage, (him being German makes things a little more complicated). He is actulaly being a great help. :clapper and deserves a clap :embrace and a hug!

I am lucky in one way that my h2b is involved in every aspect he can be (expec the dresses of course, lol).
When we got engaged initially, he rang a few bands, we heard about a few wedding fairs and we went to them, everything we have booked or viewed we have gone together and discussed and booked what we both agreed on.
He went to the RDS wedding fair on his own as I wasnt able to go, he got loads of information and ideas, he found us wedding transport with a difference and loads of other stuff and came back to me with the info and what we agreed on we booked.
We have done up our invites, mass booklet etc together and everything is good so far. He has his moments he is cracking me up as he is very much into doing everything together. which would be fine if we lived together but he lives and works in dublin and I live and work in leitrim so we just see each other at weekends and weekends are very short when we are trying to do stuff but we have overcome that now.

We bought my engagement ring together & looked at venue together - thats it! Everything else is up to me - even picking a suit! Even on a sat when he was doing nothing all day he wouldn't go into town and pick a suit. So I've picked them and he just has to go get measured up closer to the time! but to give him credit he's great at signing me blank cheques and sending me on my way!

We went and looked at the venue together and picked the menu together but beyond that he hasn't been that active in planning. It generally works out that I do the research and gather the info and then show the options to him and he picks his favourite or rules out one of them and I go from there. To be honest, he's self employed and has a lot of sporting commitments so he's way too busy to spend the time I spend on researching stuff whereas I work in a normal 9-5 job and only play sport as a hobby so I have a good bit of free time in the evenings.

We don't have his suit yet but he'll be pretty fussy about that when the time comes I'd say. In terms of flowers and colours, he doesn't care and just leaves it up to me. Music on the other hand, he does care about and has been pretty involved and opinionated on that front. Mostly, he doesn't care as long as the price is right. I don't think he realises at all how much shopping around and haggling is involved in getting the prices I track down!

We picked the church and the hotel together, picked the wedding rings together, met with the florist together, went to see loads of bands together and h2b ultimately picked one as I didn't mind. We also choose the HM together. Think thats been the extent of h2bs involvement! I was well happy with him though! He's decided to start saying "Whatever you want, sure you know best!" at this stage  and if I over spend on something I just say "Sure you told me whatever I want - this is what I want!" No comeback ;)
