Ladies, I'm wondering what stuff you are getting the groom to do? My fella is doing sweet FA. We went to look at a band together but that's about it. I'm going a bit

What stuff is the groom traditionally supposed to do when it comes to helping with the wedding?

Mine is sorting suits and was supposed to be doing the honeymoon but I got bored and started looking up places!!

Ah I dont mind really, sure if I left him to sort it out I'd only end up going with him to make sure it was done right!! He'll be helping me with the invitations as well cause he's the arty one in this relationship!

mine is taking care of the church, he got the car, bookd the dj(along with me), his getting the suits(along with me) we did look at photographers together too.

listing it out he has done a bit.

what you could do is say you cant do cas you are taking care of x,y,z and you need him to do a,b,c

My h2b has rang and sourced videographers and got them to send out dvd samples. He has been on hotel searching duty too for hm!! He has gone into some shops to get stuff too. We organized rings, hm destination, suits and band together.
Bought him The Grooms Guide-he had no idea til then the amount of work involved in a honeymoon!!I would recommend something similar for every b2b to give h2b!!

well we booked the venue, church, band and photographer. Mind you i did the organising he came along for a listen or a look and like everything.
his main role will be the wedding cars, I'm giving him free reign with that.

Its gas he reckoned sure you'd have a wedding sorted and all done in two weeks and doesn't know what all the hassle is about. thats cos booked all the above in the first two weeks, and he reckons it all done now really. god bless him.

i done the same squinn, gave my h2b free rign woth the car, the only thing i said was there was a time limit and of he doesnt have it doen by then i'll do it, and he waited until the last day too book it!

We kinda worked together on the main things - venue, band, cars, photographer and videographer! He does all the ringing - I email, lol!! I'm looking into the invites side and the flowers!! He will be looking after the suits (with my supervision!)
I ask his opinion and he says ... "yeh, thats nice!!!"

He's supposed to be doing the honeymoon - but I think it will be a joint decision!! lol Although I'd love him to surprise me!!

we're the same as you jelly....althought i think h2b is def planning something for the honeymoon....his on about getting his passport.....he cant hide much from me!
