Not sure yet Dragonfly but i'll let you know when they tell me at the consultation! My contacts are OK just, It took me a long time to find ones that work for me and even then they dry out a bit too quickly for my liking! And I work in front of a computer all day which doesnt help either

Oh God, I know what you mean. Used to have a job like that too - my eyes were constantly dry, and the overuse of air con didn't help things either! I wear my glasses everyday, used to wear my contacts all the time but glasses are as handy. Would love to look into getting the surgery done after the wedding!!

I had laser surgery on my eyes almost 11 years ago - best day of my life! I was -4.00 in both eyes. My surgeon was Michael Brown at the Blackrock Clinic - he has since retired but was fanstastic. It was a very strange experience but I didn't care as I was so excited about never having to wear glasses or contact lenses again. I was a new woman afterwards... I've had a slight deterioration in one eye in the last couple of years but I still don't need glasses. I would imagine the technology has greatly improved since I had it done - I won't hesitate to do it again if I have to. I know a lot of people who've had it done with no difficulties afterwards. Well i went and I saw!! Well saw as much as I could without me specs Anyway turns out I am suitable for the surgery yay! but it'll cost about 2,500e booo Just can't afford it right now. But on the plus side at least I know I CAN get it done and i know the cost so I can save towards it. Have to say they where great, they answered all my questions and totally put my mind at ease about it. Just wish I had the money to get it done right away!

That's crazy expensive hun, like you said though, at least you have a better idea of the procedure now and can save towards it.
Btw, long time no chat on here Missie! Been browsing a lot in the last few days and I can see myself getting hooked again!
