I had a large 20cm fibroid removed on June 15th last year. It was meant to done by keyhole, but it ended up being both keyhole and a c-section type incision of about 12 inches in length. I was prepared to be sore and swollen for a while afterwards, but there's been little or no change for months now. I'm getting married in September and want to tone up as well as lose the tummy I have as a result of it but I'm getting nowhere fast. I can't do much exercise because the tummy still feels quite heavy and sore . Is it going to go away, and have any othes misses managed to get around this issue? I want to look stunning for my dress fittings but now I've got this to contend with it's annoying !

I havent had this myself but, i think it will take alot of time. As my mam had fibroids blasted and it took a good 3 months for her to start getting back to normal.

Thanks for that. it's been 6 months now and because I'm still swollen and sore I'm worried about it. It's going to limit the amount of exercise I can get done too and with dress fittings and all that I need to be in as good shape as I can get!
