I had one done a couple of years ago. They did an MRI too. You go into a big machine and they put earphones on you coz it makes a lot if noise. It's a bit claustrophobic but doesn't hurt. Can't remember how long it lasted but it was 20 mins max. Hth and good luck

Ya asbabe same as MrsORourke. It doesn't hurt or anything. Most annoying thing is you have to stay really still for 15 20 mins.

As the girls say, its nothing ot worry about, sometimes the noise of them is hte only thing that is annoying. My sis got one done in January and she got to listen to music and just had to stay still, you just have to relax, she nearly fell asleep, I also nearly fell asleep when I got an mri on my leg done a few years ago, if you relax and listen to the music you'll be fine.

As for price - im not sure hun, I think my sister went under health insurance for it!

I had one done too. Its nothing to worry about honestly. Its bit loud - I didnt have earphones but you dont notice after a while coz you concentrating on staying still and listening to consultant telling you to when to take deap breaths... MIne took about 20 mins but honestly it flies by . Best of luck hun :hug2 :hug2 :hug2
