So just recovering from an absolutely fantastic weekend in Killarney at the Aims awards where by H2B won the award for best actor in a supporting role and our show won Best show in the country -
Only downside from the weekend is I fractured my fifth metatarsal - basically a bone in my foot
Just froze my gym membership for the next few weeks as I'll be in a cast for at least 4 to 6 weeks....
On the up side I should have super toned arms after all the crutching around!

By the way in case your were wondering how I sustained the injury - Dancing

That sucks about your foot, at least it gives you an excuse to realx and give orders to everyone else

True Missy Moo - crutches are very handy for pointing at people, things etc, just have to train my dogs to carry things for me now and we'll be sorted!

Ouch! you poor thing! Im just off crutches after 5 months with knee injury so I feel your pain!! Hope you have a speedy recovery!

Think the painkillers and anti inflammatorys are maintaining my came disposition!
Am a little worried that all the work in the gym will go to waste, will just have to watch what I;m eating, hopefully I'll be well sorted by the time the wedding comes round.
I will miss my walks and workouts though, can keep up the upper body workout and sit ups and to be honest, using the crutches to get from A to B at the mo seems to be burning plenty of calories, the most simple of tasks takes alot more energy.

oh that is awful cause you sound so dedicated. well can still do the floor exercises cant you? like sit ups well I dont know if you have a cast on.

but the last thing you want to do is make your foot any worse so do gentle exercises.

Have been using my dung bells, haven't tried sit ups yet and a few laps of the house seems to work up a sweat
