Polly G thanks for starting the thread and for the replies girls i'd say i'm going to get very bored with it but going to at least try! have ye any particular Favorite meal for protien days ? i'm finding it hard to find some of the foods (crab sticks in particular!) i've read the attack phase in the book but still a bit confused can you have the porridge and galettes on the attack?

Earlybird for breakfast on a protien day I either have scrabbled eggs and smoked salmon or boiled egg and ham. Then for lunch I have cooked chicken breast and a tin of tuna for super! Along with lots of water!!!

Yea good work polyg on starting the thread... Hope you can stay motivated I know how hard it is!

As a vegetarian this diet was way too restrictive...after a week I caved! its very limiting as it is and while i do eat meat alternatives i missed the sauces and vegetables. Im normally always munching on salads and fruit and when I couldnt i felt deprived :( Maybe its not just a vegetarian thing. Should i look for another diet or have there been successful vegetarians?

i don't know about veggies to be honest i've only read some of the book and i know that it mentions that it is very difficult for veggies i try and stick to only 2 eggs a day and i find its ok (i'm only on day 3!) because of the varity of meat but i'd go nuts if i didn't have that. i'm trying to get more fish in but i would hate to be only able to eat just fish and eggs. sorry i know that doesn't help but i'd say go for a different diet cos it's ment to be a long term thing and it's very restrictive without the added veggie restriction! i don't usually eat much meat myself usually but i havn't found the last few days of the attack bad but i'm only doing a 3 day attack

hey welcome to the thread izzabellas!

i was on this for a week and a half and lost a few lbs went off it las week as i had some work and life things going on that i couldn't follow it but i'm starting back on monday on the attack. i found it really good and not that difficult i don't miss potatoes or bread at all. i think that my body shape has changed a bit too and i feel like all the bloating around my middle had gone too! i usually just buy the packets of ham that you get in the shop which ever one is the least fat! i usually have this for lunch with cottage cheese and a boiled egg and that seems to be enough.
