Feel Like A Beached Whale!

Postby MrsMul2B » Wed Jul 27, 2011 9:01 pm

Hi Girlies,
Don't worry i'm not actually expecting replies here but feel like a beached whale today. My tummy has gotten so round I almost look preggers (don't worry i'm deffo not). Went dress shopping today and felt horrible. One of the women didn't help in that she told me I could really do with rouching around the tummy area as it's very flattering. I tried several one with rouching and they were all not me. I had told her this in advance but still tried on as they know their business. Still felt horrible.
But came home and had dinner and still want everything. I feel horrible, know I need to change things dramatically but won't get off my fat ass. I need a swift kick up the jelly-like arse!

I think we might have been separated at birth!! I am the exact same! I have no motivation whatsoever. It sucks. I say I'll go on a diet and then it lasts about a week and then I just can't be bothered anymore. And as for exercise??? That is the devil! NEVER!!!

I kno exactly how you feel!! :hug1 All you need is help with is motivation if you want to get off your ''ass''!!
I was in your situation few months back and me and my sister started bootcamp! O MY GOD!! But what a difference it has made!! Only been doing it few weeks and lost half a stone and almost down a full dress size!! And feel amazingly energetic and 'able'!! :bounce
About the dress thing, some people have no common sense!! Youd think if that girl knew her job, she would be aware that women have days where we just feel bloated etc!!
The next time you go dress shopping, just go with positive attitude and it makes you feel so much more confident and assertive in what you want!! :yeah
At least you know that here, you can alwasy have a rant and we're here to help!! :hug1
Hope you feel better!!

Thanks girls,
Hella so pleased i'm not the only one!
Mrsb2b i'd love to do bootcamp but i can't for 2 reasons. I do shift work and can't commit to anything and injured my back 3 years ago in a car crash. I love watching the boot camps, it looks so satisfying! Not fun but satisfying. Well done to both you and your sister with the losses, yay girlies!

I know it can be expensive, but would you consider going to a personal trainer for 2 or 3 weeks. You can just tell him you cant afford it anymore after that and continue to do it yourself at home!! But he would would get you started and motivated!! Just get a few exercises off him that you can do yourself at home because of your back, and get a few healthy eating options off him!! I have loads of yummy recipes for healthy option foods if you want any!! It would be a start and make you feel better that your making an effort in the right direction!! :hug1
Ill try put up a few links to websites that have been advised to me!!

Hey Mrs Mul
I wonder do you need the discipline of Weight Watchers or Unislim? you could pick a class that suits you , follow the plans, do some exercise and then go back every week for a weigh in. You have PLENTY of time before the wedding.. whatchya reckon?

I have all the info on weight watchers etc and can't seem to stick to them. I have a very short attention span for things like that. But I did go to Argus today and buy a small cross-trainer for the house. Just finished making it and am bout to go get changes and give it a lash. And on the on the plus side it was on sale so got it for €87 instead of €130. Here goes nothing!
