I never go for facials. The clinic range is fab. If you are following cleanse, tone and moisturise routine thats brill.I would highly recommend using a deep cleansing mask one night and a hydrating one the following night. I have combination skin and even though I'm prone to breakouts my skin is dehydrated from weather, central heating etc.

Hello fellow Misses,

My mother always told me that less is more - she always kept products to a minimum however her cousin was always using products of all sorts and now 30 years on my Mum looks 10 years younger then her age and her cousin looks 10 years older so it is proof that less is more!

I have very very sensitive skin in that I can use very few products with out a burn feeling and look on my skin and sometimes even my face swelling up! I have a lot of allergies to eye shadows and cream etc.. Like others the only water I would generally drink is those thats mixed with tea bags with the odd glass or cordial. The only foundation that has worked for me is Elizabeth Arden, I wash my face with soap and water and have to use specific cream on my face for severely dry skin.

I very rarely get a spot as I tend to eat quite well. I have 11 months to act up and start drinking water so I'm not really to scared about the healthy ness of my skin in general - my massive fear is that I suffer with cold sores on a regular basis. I can even get 2 or 3 at any given time or sometimes just when one is going another will flare up. I use cold sore cream the minute I feel the tingle but it still takes at least 3 days to clear. Please help with any tips and advise on how to keep them at bay.

Please help :smileybride

I would recommend not to go for any treatments keep doing what you are doing if it works best for you. For cold sores use the compeed clear plasters, it doest exectly what it says on the tin. I get them every so ofter and put one on. Totaly takes the big red colour away, but only problem was that i was not able to put lipstick or gloss over it

Butterfly bride I suffer from coldsores too, hate them. I tried every cream I could get my hands on and nothing ever worked until I started taking L-Lysine. Its a supplement that you can buy in any boots or Holland and Barratt. I take a tablet when I first feel that tingly feeling, and it prevents the cold sore from forming. They are amazing.

I've used the compeed plasters before too feb2012. Would hate to have a coldsore on the wedding day. I seem to get them when I'm run down so I need to make sure that doesnt happen!

Hi :happywave

If your suffering from dry patches i would recommend a exfoliater. There is no point using a good moisturiser if you dont exfoliate your skin ( at least once a week) because all your doing is moisturising the dead skin cells. If your currently using a good exfoliater and moisturiser, and your skin is still dry I would recommend getting mircodermabraision. It will smooth and polish your skin to perfection, its excellent for improving fine lines and sun damage. Its not cheap but it works! If thats not a option try a hydrating serum, serum can penetrate deeper into the skin then a regular cream. Always wear your spf at least 30 so important even in winter. Hope that helps. x

Hi Butterfly Bride I feel your pain I suffer from cold sores very regularly to and have tired all the creams under the sun but with the creams (especially zoviax) they go away from one spot and show up the next day in another. I’ve also used the Compeed clear plasters and found them great but just another little tip that I find helps clear them up quick is to spray a little bit of perfume on it. It stings a little but after the tingle is gone and somehow seems to clear it up quicker! Hope this helps
