Here's a few things you can do: Drink water everyday at least 8 glasses but don't go nuts. Every morning drink hot water with a few squeezes of lemon juice to detox. Cut out/down on junk food and go for a walk 2/3 times a week. You say you only have a few pounds to lose so I wouldn't worry about it too much you have loads of time. You'll be grand.

You have loads of time don't panic at all. But as Mrsmcd2b says don't go nuts and start starving yourself or else you will mess up your metabolism and put on the weight again straight away.

I find by keeping a food diary it stops you reaching for that 2nd biscuit. try not to eat too many carbs after 6pm, i find it's easy during the week but it's the weekends i find the hardest, especially if i am hungover! Just take it day by day and get at least 30min exercise 4/5 days a week and you will have no bother slipping into your dress

cut out the bread, pasta, rice and booze! Only limit them to a portion once or twice a week! Fill up on fruit, vegetables, lean meat, fish, chicken and cottage cheese (if you can stomach it!) and lots and lots of water and green tea, honestly you'll notice the differences almost immediately but try to get a bit of exercise in as well 3-4 times a week just get out and do what ever it is you enjoy that makes your heart rate go up and you sweat a little, be it a brisk walk, dancing, swimming, jogging, gardening....whatever! Honestly, you have loads of time and you'll have no bother getting into the dress just by eating and exercising sensibly! x x

Calm down, you'll be fine. To echo what some of the others have said, just cut out the junk food and processed food and limit as much as possible wheat, dairy and sugar. Throw the water and green tea into ya, you'll be fine. Get some exercise too, even a brisk walk a few times a week, it'll help with the stress levels as well as the figure, you'll be even more fabulous in no time. :)

agree with all above. I really don't think there is any quick fix, but you will see results if you cut down on carbs and increase proteins. Also try and eat small and often, 5-6 times a day, that way come evening you are not hungry and will be less likely to snack.

You have over 4 months!! start NOW, stop putting it off... walk the legs off yourself. look for any excuse to move around. Try new things, swimming, hill walking... even just once a week for an hour.. but walk every day!

:nobadtalk Ok, first things first, DONT PANIC! I was in your shoes 6 months ago and I dont have long to go and am in good shape. If you have the budget, I would suggest you hire a personal trainer. If not, then go walking every evening, dont eat anything after 6:30pm, assuming you are in bed for 10-11pm, drink lots of water, eat regular meals (5-6 very small meals), cut down on pasta and high carb foods and basically cut your calorie intake. Also DONT starve yourself. Slow and steady and you will be fine. Hope this helps! :happywave
