Hi Color12, I got tablets from the doc a few years ago as I was going on a sun holiday and didn't want to be dealing with that!!! They worked a dream I took them for two weeks to delay things. They were on prescribtion so ou would need to talk to your doctor, but given you have a good reason I'm sure there wouldn't be a problem!!

I got some last year because I'd started a new pill and had period for 3 weeks straight, we were going on holiday so my doctor said he'd give me the tablets. They don't act as a contraceptive as far as I remember, I think it's just a high dose of hormones. You can drink alcohol with it with no problems, and it didn't mess up my cycle or anything which at the time would mess up at the drop of a hat but those tablets didn't have any affect on it, just went back to normal when I stopped taking them.

No idea, I wasn't in a good place healthwise at the time so was just handed the pills and took them, was desperate at that stage! They are prescription only though, so just go to your doctor and tell them that you want to delay it.
