The Pill

Postby mrsfa2b » Mon Jan 09, 2012 9:16 pm

Duno where to start all this.....
The H2B and I were having the 'baby' talk a while ago. So I decided that I would stop taking the pill this month to give my body a chance etc. I know that everyone is different when they come off the pill and conceiving times are different, that's presuming I can conceive. But now I'm worried if I do come off it there's a chance I might be pregnant for the wedding, Which I know is not the worst thing in the world coz we want babies. But....
Gee, I'm not being very clear here, also I'm coming across as quite selfish.
I really duno whether to stick to my plan and finish out this last pill andtake my chances or keep taking the pill til the wedding.......

I say either be VERY VERY VERY careful if you decide to come off the pill, or just stay on it until your wedding is over. I'm thinking along the lines of drinking at your wedding and honeymoon- I personally would be a bit disappointed if I couldn't have some champagne on my wedding day or to be able to enjoy a few nights out on honeymoon!

I'd probably be really selfish and take it til the wedding as well. I'd prob want to be able to have a drink too on the wedding day/honeymoon but also, and i'm sorry to be gross, but after coming off the pill, i'd imagine cycles aren't really regular for a bit are they? (correct me if i'm wrong there, i might be!). I'd just be afraid i'd end up having a period on the day or something!
But that said, you def wouldn't be showing or anything for the wedding if you did get pregnant at this stage, so if you didn't mind the possible few inconveniences on the day, go for it!
