Getting an exercise ball today, have to get it cos i have had some back problems in the past and the physio has recommended some exercises using this ball, so going to see what else i can use it for as well!

Love Zumba! I go with the girls every Monday and its a nice change to just the gym or running, definately breaks up the week! Its gorgeous outside today so gonna go for a run instead of the gym cos it would be such a shame not to make good use of the weather

so i'm back, well in body anyway.....we were away for a few days, did C25k W8D3, was lovely, down in muchross gardens, such a beautiful place to have a run.....did alot of walking aswell, brought the 2 doggies with us, so 3 hours of walking paddys day, made up for pizza (Milano's -very thin base---yummy) and wine that night 
been out sick though last week, sinus/chest infection, still on the antibiotics, not back to full health, but much better than last week...
Going to give myself another few days before gtting back into it, been stuffing me face, feeling it alot, bit

Hope you feel better soon december 2012, Muckross is gorgeous isn't it? It's one of my favourite places!
Up to nearly 3km now on the couch to 5k thing, so very pleased with that! Really feeling a difference in my fitness at this stage! Going to start doing running outside now tomorrow and going to practise rounders now this evening with my daughter, def going to make use of the good weather!
One strange thing i'm finding is a few years ago i lost a lot of weight mostly through dieting rather then exercise, and weighed a good bit lighter then than i do now. But i'm also finding the clothes i had then are fitting me grand again now, altho i am weighing heavier. I also tried on my wedding dress yesterday (bad i know, i'm not supposed to!), but it's a bit looser than it was when i got it, altho i'm weighing a few pounds heavier? Is nayone else finding this? Is it possible it could be muscle weighing heavy? Or is more toning? or is that the same thing?!

thanks awhileago.....ya love killarney, so many walks and beautiful area's to run. make the running seem less, as if your talking to someone when walking so many things to look around at.
well done up, up to 3km already, its a great feeling, this morning was the first time since killarney i did any excercise, did 4 miles so felt great...taking a hlaf day cause of the weather and going home to have bbq, and plant some onion in my little garden..
and yes you do feel more toned when running, not surprising your clothes are a bit loose, great or what...keep it going, esp with the lovely weather....last year i found the morning was the best time to run - though its not bright enough yet for me, the air is not as heavy- just a thought
after run this morning i weighted myself, have put on 2kg, and gone up by 4 at my lightest..
but its summer now, so bring on the healthy eating and the running..always easier during the summer

Thanks december2012! Yeah, the summer time does make it a bit easier alright!
That's a good idea about the mornings, i start work at 8, so find it a bit hard to do stuff in the mornings before work, but def i'll try that at the weekends!
Well done on the 4 miles, you'll be back to your lightest before you know it!! I'd be looking to lose around another 2 - 4 kg also, so we'll keep at it!

well i finally got started on my training for my mini marathon on the june weekend. did a solid hour. what i find great is using the "map my fitness" app on my iphone. can tell you every once in awhile how long you have done and in what time. and they it shows you the map route that you did. haven't been out walking in a while so it was great to get out in the sun. hopefully most of the moving will be done by sun so can get back into training a bit more regular.

did W8D3 this morning, about 4.5 miles, also increased the speed by a tiny bit, so glad i finished it, felt it with the little speed increase...next week its Week 9, cant believe it, then i'm going to try go out on the road, seeing physio Monday about my ankle, so see if he says its ok to go on the road again....especially with the nice weather, shocking to be inside doing it....
