Vibroplates

Postby Apple » Thu Nov 24, 2011 10:46 am

Morning Missies, :bluewave

I've not been around in awhile - life has just become a bit crazy but finally getting back on track!
I've been making great headway in shifting my pounds for the upcoming wedding in October 2012.
We've booked a pre-honeymoon/adventure holiday for January. We're off to China & The Philippenes for 3.5 weeks. I'm determined to loose the last stone by the time we reach the beach.
I am walking every day and started doing a situps at night but I'm serioulsy contemplating renting a vibroplate to help with the toning of my belly and thighs. :fingerscrossed
I was wondering have any of you lovely missies rented/bought or used one of these vibroplates and would they help in my quest to tone buy by January???

Thanks in advance xx

I have never had one but I asked my friend about them. She had rented one. She said you have to use it everyday for it to work and it is good for toning more than weightloss.

Thanks for getting back to me Mrs Brideog. Yeah I've done quite a bit of research and apparently you have to use it in conjunction with exercise and diet to see really good results. My diet is pretty strict and good and I walk every day so I think it might help me. I've heard 10 mins once or twice (if you can) every day will help with the results. Also there is a series of poses to do while on it. Eg. lunges for the thighs and squats for the inner thighs.

I promise I'll give ye an update after two weeks (cause you're supposed to see a difference after two weeks when you use it twice a day). I took all my measurments last night and hopped on it and I can confirm my thighs are a little hurty today!! But no pain no gain!
I'm determinded not to giggle when I wiggle on the beach in Jan!!

Hey Apple.

Rented one for a month over the summer and found it fantastic. Lost 7 inches overall and really toned up, it does have to be used with diet and excercise to see reap the results! One bit of advise, is to do the like of squats etc whilst using it as i didnt think just standing on it was any benefit. Good Luck!

Hey Del2012,

Brilliant stuff. Thanks a million for the post.
Well when the guy delivered it she did tell me the positions that show the best results and the best one is to stand on it like you are sking with your knees slightly bent. I can feel it in my legs today!!!
Fingers crossed it works!!

Hey Sandy,

I'm only a week down and wasn't able to use it Sat or Sun as I was away so I've not seen much of a difference if I'm honest. I'm tell you how I'm getting on this day next week as I've nothing on all this week so I'll be up on it morning and evening every day.
