Weight Watchers Pro Poins?

Postby Virginia Woolf » Wed Mar 09, 2011 2:55 pm

Hey Missies, :happywave
I'm being really cheeky here but hoping someone can help me. I'm hearing WW is great but I'll be honest at the minute do not have a spare penny at the end of the week. Do any of ye know how you can calculate how many pro point you are allowed in a day without actually having to join?
Cheers

Ok I can try and help ya no problem.....do you want me to post you the book? I dont really need it anymore.
Calculating the points can be abit tricky. You need to either have the point wheel, a special calculator or the is an app on the I Phone I use....do you have an I phone.
You MUST eat your 29 daily points allowence and if you dont you wont loose weight.
Generally this is what I have in a day.

Breakfast - 3 weetabix & Slimline Milk 6points
Lunch - Chicken Breast/Tuna/Ham or some kind of meat with loads of Salad 6points
Along with a Yohgurt for 1 point and then maybe some fruit.
Dinner - totally varies but I normally use about 15 points for dinner...I love my dinners.
Then I would normally have in the evening as a sweet treat another yohgurt or maybe a little ww bar or something.

I drink about 2 litres of water a day.....its a killer some days but really works.

You really need to get a weighing scales to weigh all your food I think.

Let me know what other info you need.

I actually left WW because of the new pro points. Can't get the hang of it at all plus the cost was also an issue. Decided to spend the money on a gym and do the old points at home myself.

i agree with dufferlover. I thought it was too expensive so joined the gym instead. I still buy the WW crackers, bars and crisps but i work on calories instead. And no food after 7pm. Lost 4 stone before our wedding- eat less, move more. Felt brillant on the day and it showed. never stopped smiling. :D
