Weight watchers

Postby MinnieMiss » Fri Aug 26, 2011 1:59 am

Hey everyone! After initial success as a veggie doing the dukandiet I have gained back everything and am totally frustrated. I'm thinking of following weight watchers...a friend of mine has all the stuff I'll need to follow the program.

WouLd anyone care to join me? We could log in with what we had points wise and keep tabs on how much we are losing.

:bluewave hi
weight watchers is great if you have the motivation BUT i joined couple years ago an lost over a stone which was great so decided to leave an do it myself and put back on half a stone.
joined again few months ago with new programme and in 3 weeks only lost 2lb so i left.
id def reccommend going to the classes to get full benefit of it. its getting on the scales in front of a stranger and being told ur up a pound and her asking what went wrong that keeps you going.
im trying myself an i have points off in my head but its so hard. maybe its just me. hope you have better luck.
theres another group think its called slimming world which promotes pasta and rice an things like that if ur a vegeterian it mite be a better diet 4 ya :blahblah :blahblah :blahblah
xxxxxxxxxx

Thanks for your reply. I'm normally pretty motivated so if I had to come on here and say I was up or sown that would be enough motivation for me

I'm goin to start puttin 10euro a week away that I wud spend on the class. Then buy myself something really nice wen I get to target. I'm finding it easy enuf so far. The pro points is flexible.

perfect! im getting back into working out properly too so hopefully ill start to shrink back to my normally stable weight! will we do a weigh in on mondays together? i would be more comfortable saying what i lost rather than what i weigh... me thinks? or we could post up what points we used (might be OTT?) it might help stay on track knowing someone else will read it.

i weighed myself yesterday and was down a lb and a half. I'm pleasantly surprised. I never once felt deprived and actually had a treat most days, aswell as having a take away on the weekend. Delighted :)
