Weight Watchers Tips!

Postby Apple » Fri Aug 19, 2011 10:15 am

Hi Girls, :bluewave

I know there are quite a few of us doing Weight Watchers and I was wondering if any of you would like to share your Weight Watchers Tips!
You might think your top tip is very obvious but maybe for other Missies will have never heard of it and they will be delighted that you shared your knowledge.
I'm currently doing it and have lost only 6 pds. I need motivation. I know slowly but surely is the best way but here we can encourage eachother.
It can be anything - from a gym workout you swear by, or a recipe or a favourite low point snack to keep the cravings at bay!! :drool

Looking forward to reading everyones posts!! xx :highfive

eh well i keep quitting and re-joining but if you can do monthly pass online the recipes in it are amazing - sometimes i just dont know what to cook and i type in chicken and it finds me something nice. also, there are message boards which i find really helpful when I'm doing it (my tolerance onnly lasts about 4 weeks at a time!)

also use a notebook instead of a scrap a paper to track, cause then you can read back over what you did on a good week to re-motivate yourself.

Oh I hav e4 weeks to go to wedding and 7lb to go - i got kind of lazy about tracking but am keen to lose another 6-7 lb - maybe I'll go back and do it again!! ou've motivated me!

oh my best snack tip is an apple cut up and spread with no sugar natural peanut butter from healthy store - because its got lots of protein it fills you up.

Tip: remove a banana from it's skin stick in the freezer when frozen blend it wit your low point yoghurt and it's nice. I got long breadsticks in aldi yesterday dat are 1 pt each. I lost about 2 stone before on ww but never maintained it. I'm adamant dis tine I'l stick wit it!

I did the old ww before and now I'm doing the new 1. I tink the weightloss is def slower but you don't feel like your depriving yourself as much. So I tink long term it's easier to stick to.

Went back to WW AGAIN.....my willpower sucks. :) Mind you, the thoughts of trying on wedding dresses is keeping me on track.

I've never really been a breakfast person. In fact the only time I've eaten a breakfast is when I've been expecting my children. So now, I'm making the effort to eat a breakfast. Right now, I'm having a bowl of multi seed porridge with a little sugar, and that's filling me up until about 12. I'm trying to snack on fruit when I can and I've decided that fizzy drinks are out, too.

Hopefully I can keep this up over Xmas and into the new year. *crosses fingers*

well i bite d bullet n joined ww, well I just had my 4th weigh in last tues & i am down 12lbs :smokin i am delighted now I have another 2half stone to go but I feel grt n I love the new pro-points programme. I feel like I am still able to eat but been healthy. I have my dress fitting on monday n feel so much more positive about it.

My tip is~ ww yougurts the vallina & toffee r only 1pro-p & yummie & if u add them in a blender with 500g of strawsberry & blueberry's, 1 bannana & ice cubes, its yummie & only 1propoint :yikes2 n will fill u till lunch :D

Not sure if it's just my local Centra or if it's in all branches, but they're doing 2 Muller Light yoghurts for €1. Tried the coconut one....yummy! :)
