Apple, if you can do some toning exercises as well as your cardio. I lost over 3 stone about 10 years ago and have kept it off but the one thing I regretted was not doing any toning so it took me years to get rid of the loose skin.

Really Fionab1385? I was told to focus on the cardio at the moment and then wait til half off and focus on toning - but what do you recommend? Squats with weights and some sit ups and upper body weights?

Even doing one or two 30min sessions of lifting light weights and doing sit ups will speed up your metabolism and you burn fat an awful lot quicker the more muscles you have.

I would definitely be aiming for at least 30min cardio getting up a good sweat 5 times a week and on two toning sessions - maybe to 3 set of 10 of plie squats to tone up the inside & outside thighs holding a 2kg or 3kg wight, 3 sets of bicep curls with 2kg or 3kg weight, 3 sets of tricep kickbacks with 2/3kg weight, 3 sets of 10 of push ups and 3 sets of 10 of sit ups making sure your shoulders come off the floor. Do that for a week or two and see how you go. once you start building up a bit of strength you can put in more toning exercises.

Hamstring is a balls cuz it takes a while to heal, plenty of steam rooms to loosen it out!! nothing stoping you though doing some upper body weights & sit ups while it's healing though!

that's perfect, swimming is brilliant for all over toning. Am always starving after it though!!
