Hey!

I am new on here and I have no idea what I am doing. I got engaged in December just gone and the wedding is January 7th 2012 (we didn't want a long engagement, I would be driven nuts with planning!). I thought I had a handle on things, but when I look at this site, there is so much more to sort out! I booked the church, venue, cake within a week of starting to organise the day. I know what dress I am ordering (when I get back from USA in 2 weeks), cars, photographer, bridesmaids dresses, band, dj, my wedding ring, all sorted. I had all that done in 3 weeks, but now I have hit a brick wall. Invitations, mass booklets, h2b wedding ring,videographer, flowers, etc. just seem to be left by the wayside and I didn't know I had so many options! We are on a budget, and I am very good at researching to get the best deal, but some things are getting away from me! I hope I will get plenty of inspiration from here and you girls will keep me a little calmer!

Hey, firstof all...breath! You have got LOADS done and you still have plenty of time. I've only just sorted my flowers and have half of the booklet thing sorted. Check out gettingmarried.ie for wedding readings and a thing that helps you make your own booklet, but as I said, you have LOADS of time so don't be panicking, you have the main things done, the other bits can be done very quickly. Just make a list of the things you need to do, then tackle them one by one. You will get it done and definitely shop around, there are some great bargains to be had! Hope that helps you calm down a little. Oh, and I've also just sorted the invites as well. You will get it all done so don't be worrying!

conratulations and welcome to the site.. Firstly relax, you will get there you have loads of time. You have loads sorted already.. Next id price some videographers and look at your dress. Invites, booklets and rings are time enough..
