Am new to this site, so just wondered if there were any other 2013 brides on?? It seems along time away but i've a few things done cos i couldn't wait!!

I couldn't wait either i have venue, church, band, dj, photographer and videographer all booked.

That's a lovely date, a new years eve wedding will be lovely! We're July 6th 2013. That's great you've all those things done too, i don't feel as mad now!! We've venue, church, dj and invites (family friend doing them) sorted, hoping to have band in next few weeks as well, so you're a little ahead of me!

Ah lovely sure you're under the 2 year mark now. As everyone keeps saying to me, the time will fly by!
You have loads done too, i only have all that booked because new years eve is getting to be a popular date.
Kind of at a standstill at the moment, can't really do anymore yet, im just mad to get going!!

Yeah, i would say New Years Eve would be a very busy date, you would really want to be organised for that! I find that too, there's only so far you can go as yet altho you'd love to be doing more! But at least when it comes to doing the last minute things there'll be time to do them cos the other stuff will be done! (i hope!)

Me and Mr H are getting Married 20/06/13 engaged 7 weeks and have Hotel, photographer, florist booked -- eager much ha ha ha ha After a few stress attacks im back on track with enjoyment

Started looking at bands last week girls, oh god, the price of them! And there were a few booked for the date already! Altho part of me was sort of happy about that cos i can use it on people going "oh, sure that's ages away, it's too early to be booking things"!!

Thats why we are having DJ only !!! Bands are so so expensive !! People keep telling me that we are booking things too early but i really just want the main things done

i'm getting married in 2013 too!! We were going to go abroad but now we're going to stay in Ireland, how are ye all so organised?!?!?! we're only goin to see the registrar on thursday to try set a date and people say im gettin ahead of myself!

We are planning to get married in 2013 no date set yet!! Just bought my wedding dress online!!!Moment of madness! Rk bridal newyork for 1/2 price i was quoted here!! Would def recommend them the staff are lovely very helpful!!

delighted to hear other missies have booked for 2013.

We've set the date for 20th july 2013 and I have so far restrained myself from booking anything, thinking it's too early for anywhere to take bookings. So i've been buying every wedding magazine and you can't tear me away from the internet! Practically have the wedding planned just waiting to start booking. But now I don't feel so crazy knowing i'm not the only one

Gonna hold off until the weding fair in the RDS, hopefully get some good deals and ideas there.
Anyone else going along?
