Hi all
Just wondering if anyone has any advice on picking a band in Cork. We would like something along the lines of a michael buble and modern music, no trad!

have you looked at the marvels? thats who we have booked, theyre based in cork but so travel

with the Marvels. We've them booked for next year, got a recommendation from the hotel wedding co-ordinator and went to see them at a wedding. They were absolutely brilliant, they play in Cork in Barrys in Douglas sometimes so you'd get a feel for them there.

I really want the marvels too, but I've sent a few emails and they haven't replied. Rang a few times too and they said they'd ring back.... They are totally brill so I'd still love them to do the wedding but just wondering if ye encountered the same thing with them with you booked them initially?

I rang twice and he keeps telling me to email him when I ring:( He's really nice on the phone though. I really want them to do the wedding, saw them at another wedding and they totally livened up what was a very boring wedding before!

Hey detoxkid,dont give up on them. We have them booked for next year(actually 10months from today,just saw on my ticker ) and it took a few weeks to have a proper chat with them. But Billy is great to deal with when you do get through to him. They are well worth the effort so keep trying

thanks all, there are a few bands on around cork for the next two weekends so good excuse for a few nites out anyhow!! I did check our radiostar online and they do sound good so going to check them out as well!
