Bride and Groom seat covers for church

Postby Annabananna » Fri Apr 29, 2011 6:02 am

Just wondering if any one knows how I go about arranging seat covers for our seats at the church (bride and grooms seat only). Our florist does not supply this and we are having our reception in a restaurant and won't be ahving seat covers and they don't do them anyway...

Any ideas/advice would be much appreciated!

I hire these for weddings I provide flowers for, but, if your florist doesn't supply them, I think you'll probably have to buy 2 of them and get someone to do it for you on the morning. Firstly though, I'd suggest you speak to the sachristan or priest and make sure they don't have a problem with having these, every church and priest is different! HTH.

Are you diong the flowers yourself or have you a florist. Florists I'm sure will have the option of supplying the sands. I am sure there will be ways you could imrovise and use something else instead of stands. Or just not have flower stands and place some vases of flowers around the altar...good luck =)

what are the chairs like in the chair. they may be lovely without covers. I saw them before in dunnes they had a pack of two in ivory or white. It may depend on the size and shape of the chair.
