Hi everyone

New to the site but it's been soooo helpful already ....Just wondering if anyone has gotten married in the Diamond Coast Hotel in Enniscrone recently?? I'm getting married there in May next year & i'd really love to hear some feedback-good or bad

Hey hun ive the Diamond Coast booked for next april . Was at a wedding there in October reallly nice. Food service everything lovely. Only thing i would fault was the lack of staff at the front bar when we got to hotel first not enough will be talking to them about that. The wedding co ordinator there is really nice so helpful.

delighted to hear it's all been good so far cos I haven't been to a wedding there myself so was a little bit nervous bout the whole thing!!Hmmmm couldn't have that at the bar, it'd be madness if there weren't enough people H2B asked the manager the day we booked how many staff usually work behind the bar in the function room on the day of a wedding & he said usually bout 6 but we forgot to ask bout front bar...Oh Mrs20122b I'm the same, wish it was tomorrow!! still guess it's just more time to enjoy the engagement have you guys got much done yet? So far I've our church, band, photographer & I'm working on a florist..really don't know if that's enough, too much, the norm to have done!? Aww really hope we all have fantastic days

Hi girls. guess where we have gone for romantic valentine weekend??
The Diamond Cost Hotel. It looks beautiful. The first thing i noticed it that it was vey cold in reception and on way to room. The room is huge and really lovely. having dinner tonight and will let ye know how that goes. Also staff are very friendly and it seems like a very easy going hotel.

Im Mostly the same bits done as you urs. Have Hotel, Church, Priest, Band dj, Photographier, Video man booked have looked at dresses so have a good idea of what im looking for now. Next im hoping to get Church music sorted. So exciting wish it was this april not next april but the time will fly.

everyone says that the time will fly, that it'll be the week of the wedding b4 we know it but i'm sooo impatient!! gosh ur well on ur way, i've still gotta get dj & video man but have an idea who to get so shouldn't be too bad...think I know where i'm gonna get my invites too but gonna wait till i look at bridesmaid dresses so I can mayb colour coordinate!! I haven't gone dress shoppin yet can't wait to tho Quick question April2012...are you doin favors? I really can't decide?!

I havnt even though of invites yet ahh so much to think about so exciting tho.
Favors I would like to think we will do or have something but will depend on budget i think coming nearer the time. I have seen Photo boths at weddinsg lately great idea guests get pics for them selves and then you get a book of a copy of all pics too nice idea something different would do as favous too.

I'm the same, want to do some sort of favor but it'll depend on budget also..oh ya seen them at the wedding fair in the RDS in Jan, fab idea! We were at a wedding b4 Christmas where they had a video booth, soooo funny would have loved to see the dvd next day!!! God there is soooo much to think about, every time I think i'm on top of things i remember i've got soooo much more to do!!! I've had almost 9 years to think bout my dream weddding but when we got engaged last year I realised I've no idea at all about what i want/don't want!!!

I know im the same scary how much there is to do but it will all fall into place. HOPEFULLY Ha ha Never seen the video booth ones they sound good too. Photo one nice though as guests get copy of photo too nice keep sake of the day.

Hey mrs20122be you have loads done and organised fair play to ya.
O ya I agree main bar isnt used only when people arrive first to the hotel for hour or so before meal. It was just we all arrived together at hotel and it took nearly half an hour to get served first.
