hi everyone! been engaged for 2 and a half years, think its time to start planning the wedding :) no idea where to start though!!

Hi and welcome to the site........you in the right place :hug2 all the missies are great for giving advice :)
First you need to have a date/tim eof year in mind then look at chruch/ceremony venues and hotels
Then book the prieat/minister, bands, dj photographer and videographer.

Well these are the steps i took any way :lol: hope this helps

thanks so much :) must start pricing venues soon, id like to have the wedding sept/oct 2013 so at least that's one thing decided :)

:bluewave Congratulations! You have lots of time to enjoy the planning stage if you're looking at 2013. You'll be able to have plenty of fun checking out venues. Deciding on whether you want a church or civil ceremony will help you with venue selection. Have fun!

i'm from kerry :) there's a good few hotels that i must check out on my week off, hoping to find one i really like close to where i live. i'm really looking forward to planning the wedding,i have an idea of what i want in my head about the dresses, bridesmaids dresses, what church i want to get married in, etc so hopefully i'll sail through the planning! the only thing i'm not sure of is the hotel

hey tanya, welcome to the site and congrats on getting engaged. You should try some of these hotels in killarney - brehon, malton, muckross park, dromhall,
Tralee - carlton, manor west, ballyseedy, brandon, ballingarry.
