Hi!

Newly engaged since last week, all systems go though as planning to get married early next year.

Have a venue almost sorted, just need to iron out a few things then just need to sort out a nearby church and band and the big things are sorted - photographer almost done too.

Really looking forward to the next few months though dreading the wedding dress shopping, need to shed a big load first!!

Has anybody else turned all this round in a short space of time? If so, I'd love to hear from you you.

A few of the missies have organised weddings in a short space of time - it can be done

You might want to look at the registration with the state, and the wedding dress shopping if you want to order from a bridal shop most say you need six to eight months to get the dress and leave time for alterations but i think some shops are quicker and some you can buy off the rail

Hey congratulations. You'll do fine and don't worry about dress shopping. I've the same issues as you i.e. wanting to lose a bit first but the missies on here who have been dress shopping tell me that there are dresses to suit every size and shape and not to worry about it. Stick with Mrs2be.ie and your planning should be made 10 times easier. It's helped me loads already and I'm not here long. Enjoy the engagement!!
