Hi! :bluewave I'm new and hope to get lots of great advice as I am not from Ireland but my fiancé is and we are getting married there! Planning from abroad...eeek!!

Where are you from and where are you planning from?

I am planning my wedding from Ireland but it is taking place in Poland. In some ways it is great to be removed from the madness but in other ways the lack of control freaks me out a bit.

Hi missies!
I'm from Canada and planning from Canada! I'm lucky to have my fiancé's family in Ireland and totally willing to help out though. I feel the same way Eimear, am glad to be somewhat removed from the madness but the lack of control definitely freaks me out!! We've booked Summerhill House in Enniskerry but haven't even seen it!!! I'll get to see it at Christmas and our wedding is next July.
Thanks for the encouraging words everyone! Defo calms my nerves a bit! :D
