€55 per head is nearing the pricer side of the scale, so do what all the other girls are doing and try to get as much as possible for your money! Top things to ask the venue to be included in your wedding package are chair covers, bar extension,2 free rooms for the parents, and lowering or waiving the corkage fee... Thanks for the tip. With the 55 a head we get the chair covers and teh two extra seats already but will defo give the corkage a go before we hand over the deposit!

Going to meet with them next week to try to sort out estimated costs etc.. For anyone who hasn't yet pickd their venue it's well worth checkingthem out for a small wedding i.e up to 100. Hopefully we'll be able to haggle on a couple of things sure we've nothing to lose!!

We just confirmed the date at the weekend having been engaged for ever!! We are looking at the liffey valley house hotel.. Anyone else have any experience of this venue or tips?
