Newbie looking for Venue near Dublin!

Hi All!

I have just gotten engaged & am very excited! My fiance is Danish and we are looking for a relaxed wedding venue in Dublin or within an hour of dublin (maybe wicklow). Danes don't do very formal events just a big party with lots of speeches ;-)

so we would like a marquee or a large function room we could decorate ourselves for 110 people, possibly a buffet type dinner and some outside space would be great. Any suggestions appreciated!!

I have looked at Glebe House and it seems really nice - has anyone been to a wedding there?

hey hun, my venue sounds ideal for what you are looking for.

Its The Waterside House Hotel in Donabate. Just a little north of Dublin. They are soooo nice and flexible with everything! Ask to speak to Paul or Jessica when enquiring :-)
