Second Time Round
Second Time Round
We are starting to plan our wedding for the second time, we are both divorced and haven't a clue where to start!!!
It's all so different now to when I did it for the first time 24 yrs ago, but I am still excited and want everything to be perfect.......but where do I start??????? The only thing I know for certain is that I have my bouquets sorted as these are being given to me by a friend of mine who is in the business. We do know that the men will be wearing kilts as he is in pipebands since he was 7 and we know it will be a Civil Ceremony, but after that god knows!!!
Anyone got any tips for me? Budget won't be huge, but I do know I want a nice dress and nice venue/food. All suggestions will be greatly appreciated with regards colour schemes, photographs, favours etc....
Thanks!!!!
Marceyd

Re: Second Time Round
Ok I had a civil ceremony and it was perfect!
We had the ceremony in the hotel!
With your H2b's kilt you should prob pick that out and go with a colour scheme to suit
When is your wedding??

It wont be very big, we are thinking maybe just family and a few close friends but invite everyone else down to the evening reception. My H2B already has his kilt so that isnt a problem and we also have them arranged for his dad and son, only problem is for my youngest son, we will have to get something similar to it as the band he played with dont have a kilt in his size. My older son, who I would like to give me away will absolutely not wear a klit so I am looking at a suit for him.
So, the men are sorted and my bouquets are sorted but that's about all
Well ours cost €7 for EVERYTHING from outfits, dresses to meal to ceremony!
We had 30 for meal and 120 or so at the afters!
You can hire a kit for your youngest if he wanted - Where we got the suits do kids kilts!
Where are you located?

Re: Second Time Round
I agree with researching venues and getting an idea of their prices as the hotel will be your biggest expense. Maybe whittle it down to 2 and see what one gives you the best offers.. Enjoy your planning
