Hi esther,

Id say there is no harm getting it organised and out of the way. certain places are booked out already for where we are going in europe but not sure about america.

im doing mine on my own but i think for america it might be different. a lot of girls used travel counsellers or trail finders I think?
depends what you want to do and if you have the patience to do the research yourself.

we are thinking of doing the Transiberian Railway. However we are on a tight budget so we are going to have a little holiday somewhere sunny after the wedding and do actual honeymoon the following year so we dont have to worry about the money for it as much. id book it as soon as your ready at least its another thing done

Hi, :bluewave
A quote of 3000 sounds a bit expensive for 9 days. You can get better value for your euro if you shop around or are flexible in your destination.
We just booked our Honeymoon for 4000euro which is flight to Havana, 12 days in Cuba with 3 different, 4star hotels which are all-inclusive (we'll be travelling a bit !!), flights to Orlando, 4 star Hotel in Orlando for 5 nights, then flight home to Dublin.
After shopping around the best deal we got was from travel counsellors & they are by far the best in terms of customer service, we dont have to lift a finger !! :cool
Good luck & happy shopping !
:D

Hi,

I think if you ask the travel counsellors they'll probable say book now.
I have to admit i am not much of a risk taker, so if i see a price and item i like - i go for it. Sometimes it works out, sometimes it doesnt.
If you leave it much later the only items that will be reduced in price, will be items that are not so popular, so they are lowering the price to get people interested. If you are completely flexible on time & destination then this could be for you & bargains can be had.
By the way, Las vegas is a great place to go & see, but apart from the strip & the casinos, Hoover Dam & the Grand Canyon, there is nothing else to do or see. 3/4 days here would be enough.
best of luck.

HI,
Yes, ive been to Vegas a few times. I didnt stay in a hotel there though as I have family there.
There are all great though and absolutely huge with the casinos.
So long as you get there when there are no conferences on, you can get good deals on rooms.
